Here in Lower Puna, Hawaii’s Volcano Circus has been very busy with our capacity-building work through the Puna Strong grants, our community agriculture and food rescue program, and most recently – in association with Puna Dance Theatre – preparing for our upcoming recital; The Mac-Nutcracker! It is a magical and uniquely Puna take on the holiday classic, bringing our circus and ballet communities together, featuring keiki and adult performers. The 1st Annual Mac-Nutcracker took place last year and was a resounding success. We are excited to build upon the energy and showcase the strength and beauty of our community. We would be thrilled for you to join us for a performance and see first-hand the creativity, community cohesion and talent of our artists and volunteers. Please consider this your formal invitation.
